Is your business eco-friendly?
At For Flo, we try to do whatever we can to be environmentally friendly in our day-to-day practices. This includes using packaging and stationary made from nearly all 100% recycled materials.
You may also notice that we don’t send a printed tax invoice with your orders, as we think this is an unnecessary use of paper and ink. We ask that customers please refer to their email order receipt.
Isn't reusing just a bit yuck?
We’re glad you’re interested! In short – no, it really isn’t.
There are two points to make here:
- Do you throw your underwear out each time you use it? No? That would be a bit wasteful, wouldn’t it! Think of it this way – you often don’t get a full “clean” from using toilet paper after doing a poo, and if you’re a frequent fluffer, there’s particles getting on your underwear all day! But you don’t really notice that or worry about it, and you just wash and use again. That’s normal! Which brings us too:
- Menstrual blood isn’t dirty. It is certainly no more yuck than poop, which is just another normal bodily function we must take care of. Maintaining the use of cloth pads and menstrual cups is easy and nothing to be intimidated by.
