Face masks are undeniably satisfying part of a beauty routine. They leave you feeling pampered, refreshed and cleansed. Lariese Empyrean Clay Masks are 100% pure, superfine natural Australian Clay coming to you in the easy to use and natural state that it has existed in for centuries. Keeping it in it’s original form as a dry powder also eliminates the need for preservatives or any additives.
Many face washes have abrasive particles designed to “scrub” away dirt and oil, but this is actually too harsh on the delicate nature of our skin. Lariese Empyrean Clay Masks are a gentle alternative that will not cause damage by scratching at the surface.
When using these clay masks, there are benefits to each stage of the process:
- Damp phase – where your skin responds to the beneficial minerals in the clay.
- Dry phase – which exercises your capillaries and stimulates blood flow to the face as the mask cools and contracts, gently extracting impurities and cleaning out the pores.
- Exfoliating phase – where dead skin cells adhered to the clay are washed off.
Lariese Empyrean Green Clay Mask is an excellent choice for acne-prone and oily/combination skin as it reduces the excessive oil produced and helps to soak up the dirt and grease accumulated during the day. It cleanses and tightens the pores, removes dead skin cells to provide smoother appearance.
The green colour comes from ancient decomposed plant material and iron oxide, which is a determining factor in the quality of the clay. This the strongest of the three masks, with the minerals in the green clay helping to re-balance oil flow and strengthen skin.
The Pink Clay Mask is the lightest of the three masks and is reported to make the skin feel fresh, smooth and flexible. It gently removes impurities and toxins from the pores while revitalising the skin for that clean, fresh feeling and radiant glow.
The pink clay is a mixture of the very gentle white and stronger red clays, an ideal balance of gentle exfoliation and oil control for those with sensitive or mature skin.
Lariese Empyrean Yellow Clay Mask is good for all skins types, especially those that feel devitalised and tired looking. The Yellow Clay Mask gently exfoliates and cleans the skin, draws out toxins, hydrates and nourishes. It won’t leave your face dry or tight.
This clay obtains its colour from iron oxides and other small mineral particles which is mined in the great Australian outback. It is a natural way to stimulate blood circulation, resulting in the strengthening of connective tissues and skin tone for all skin types.
Incorporate into your beauty routine at least once a fortnight.
Mix a teaspoon or two of the clay in a bowl with water. Wet face and neck with warm water. Apply mask in a thin layer all over, avoiding eyes and lips. Wait for mask to dry, usually 10-15 minutes. Wash away with warm water. Spritz with Lariese Eternal Rose Otto Facial Mist. Follow with your preferred moisturiser.
Do not use a clay mask on hypersensitive or sunburned skin, or if skin is broken or infected. If you have any discomfort or irritation, discontinue use immediately and contact your health care provider.
